Overview
Authentic Spanish driven shooting just a stone’s throw from Madrid. Set in the heart of classic Spanish countryside, it combines generations of knowledge with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects its family heritage. The result is a shoot that feels both professional and deeply personal, where attention to detail and genuine hospitality come as standard. Days here follow a well-established rhythm of four driven stands, with expertly presented birds and varied ground that delivers consistent sport throughout the day. Between drives, guests enjoy relaxed “taco” breaks featuring outstanding home-cooked Spanish cuisine and local wines — an essential part of the experience and a real highlight of the day. Close to Madrid yet firmly rooted in tradition, this is shooting at its most authentic — a seamless blend of high-quality sport, exceptional food, and the unmistakable character of a true Spanish family estate.
A Day In The Field
Guests begin with breakfast served in the main dining room between 9:30 and 10:00am, offering a relaxed start to the day before heading out into the field. Between 10:30 and 11:00am, guests depart for the first drive. Loaders and secretaries ensure everything is prepared in advance, with guns and cartridges ready in the vehicles — all guests need to bring are their personal belongings, such as hearing protection and gloves. The day consists of four drives in total, with shooting across varied ground and consistently well-presented birds. Between drives, there are three relaxed breaks known locally as “tacos,” taken after the first, second, and third drives. These pauses are as much a part of the experience as the shooting itself, showcasing the estate’s exceptional gastronomy. Guests are treated to a generous spread of cold and hot meats, fish, Spanish omelettes, and a wide selection of tapas, all served with plenty of refreshments. Beverages include everything from soft drinks through to chilled glasses of Rioja and other regional wines. It’s a rhythm of shooting, hospitality, and time shared in the field — a full and authentic Spanish driven day from start to finish.
About The Area
Toledo, located in central Spain just south of Madrid, is one of the country’s most historic and atmospheric cities. Once the capital of the Spanish Empire, it sits dramatically above the River Tagus, surrounded by sweeping countryside and ancient stone walls that reflect its rich medieval heritage. Known as the “City of Three Cultures,” Toledo has been shaped over centuries by Christian, Muslim, and Jewish influences, all of which are still visible in its architecture, traditions, and winding old town streets. The skyline is defined by its cathedral, fortress alcázar, and a maze of cobbled alleys that feel largely unchanged for hundreds of years. Beyond the city itself, the surrounding La Mancha region opens into classic Spanish shooting country — wide plains, olive groves, and rolling agricultural land. It’s a landscape defined by big skies, warm light, and a strong rural character, offering both beauty and a deep sense of history. Toledo is a place where culture and countryside meet effortlessly — a timeless Spanish setting with both dramatic heritage and access to some of the finest rural sporting landscapes in the country.
