1. Promoter
1.1. These competitions are operated by Atlas Sporting Ltd ("the Promoter"), a company registered in England and Wales.
1.2. The Promoter operates skill-based competitions where entrants must correctly answer a question before being entered into a prize draw.
1.3. By entering any competition operated by Atlas Sporting Ltd, entrants agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.4. These Terms apply to all competitions unless otherwise stated on the individual competition page.
2. Eligibility
2.1. Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
2.2. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age, identity and address before awarding any prize.
2.3. Employees, directors, contractors, agents of Atlas Sporting Ltd, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
2.4. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse or cancel any entry where it believes the entrant has breached these Terms or attempted to manipulate the competition.
3. Competition Entry
3.1. Entrants may enter competitions by purchasing entries through the Atlas Sporting website.
3.2. Each paid entry requires the entrant to correctly answer the competition question displayed on the competition page.
3.3. Only entries with the correct answer will be included in the final draw.
3.4. The number of available entries, ticket price, closing date and prize details will be clearly displayed on each competition page.
3.5. Unless otherwise stated, entrants may purchase multiple entries.
3.6. The Promoter reserves the right to limit the number of entries an individual may purchase for any competition.
4. Free Postal Entry Route
4.1. A free postal entry route is available for all competitions.
4.2. To enter by post, entrants must send a handwritten entry containing:
Full name
Full postal address
Contact telephone number
Email address (if available)
The name of the competition being entered
The correct answer to the competition question
A signed declaration confirming acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
4.3. Postal entries must be sent to: Atlas Sporting Ltd, 7 Bell Yard, London, WC2A 2JR.
4.4. Postal entries must arrive before the stated competition closing date.
4.5. Postal entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
4.6. Only one entry per envelope is permitted.
4.7. Bulk entries, photocopied entries, computer-generated entries, incomplete entries or illegible entries will not be accepted.
4.8. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for postal entries lost, delayed or damaged during transit.
4.9. Valid postal entries that correctly answer the competition question will receive one entry into the relevant draw.
5. Competition Question
5.1. Each entrant must correctly answer the competition question before being entered into the prize draw.
5.2. The question is designed to require a level of skill, judgement or knowledge.
5.3. Incorrect answers will not qualify for the draw and no refund will be issued.
6. Closing Dates and Draw Process
6.1. Each competition will have a published closing date and draw date.
6.2. The draw will take place on the published date unless circumstances outside the Promoter's control require a reasonable delay.
6.3. Any change to the draw date will be communicated through the Atlas Sporting website.
6.4. Once the competition closes, all valid entries with correct answers will be assigned into the draw.
6.5. The winner will be selected at random using a fair and independently verifiable random selection process.
6.6. The Promoter's decision regarding the draw outcome is final.
7. Unsold Tickets and Alternative Prize
7.1. Atlas Sporting Ltd aims to award the advertised shooting prize where sufficient competition entries are sold.
7.2. If the minimum number of entries required to fulfil the advertised prize has not been reached by the competition closing date, Atlas Sporting Ltd reserves the right to offer the winner an alternative prize in the form of an Atlas Sporting shooting voucher.
7.3. The value of the voucher will be calculated as 80% of the total revenue received from valid paid entries sold for that competition.
7.4. The voucher may be redeemed against any Atlas Sporting organised shooting day, subject to availability and the applicable terms of the selected shoot.
7.5. The voucher must be used and redeemed against a shooting day taking place on or before 30 March 2027.
7.6. The voucher is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount unless agreed by Atlas Sporting Ltd.
7.7. Free postal entries remain valid and will be included in the draw where an alternative prize applies.
7.8. Atlas Sporting Ltd reserves the right to adjust competition entry limits, closing dates or prize arrangements where reasonably required, provided that entrants are not unfairly disadvantaged.
8. Payment and Refunds
8.1. All payments must be made through the approved payment methods available on the Atlas Sporting website.
8.2. Once an entry has been purchased and confirmed, it cannot normally be cancelled or refunded.
8.3. Refunds will only be issued where:
The competition is cancelled by Atlas Sporting Ltd;
A payment has been taken incorrectly;
A refund is required by law.
8.4. Atlas Sporting Ltd reserves the right to cancel any fraudulent or suspicious transactions.
9. Prize Information
9.1. Details of each prize will be displayed on the relevant competition page.
9.2. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Where specified within these Terms and Conditions, Atlas Sporting Ltd may offer an alternative prize or voucher in accordance with Section 7.
9.3. Where applicable, travel, accommodation, licences, insurance, equipment or additional costs will only be included if specifically stated in the competition description.
9.4. The winner is responsible for ensuring they meet any legal requirements associated with accepting or using the prize, including licences, permissions and insurance requirements.
9.5. If a prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside the Promoter's control, Atlas Sporting Ltd reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
10. Winner Notification
10.1. Winners will be contacted using the details provided at entry.
10.2. The winner must respond within 14 days of notification.
10.3. If the winner cannot be contacted, fails to provide required information, or does not claim the prize within the required period, Atlas Sporting Ltd reserves the right to conduct a redraw.
10.4. Winners may be required to provide proof of identity before receiving their prize.
11. Prize Delivery
11.1. Atlas Sporting Ltd will make reasonable efforts to arrange delivery or fulfilment of prizes.
11.2. Delivery times may vary depending on the nature of the prize.
11.3. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for delays caused by third parties, suppliers, transport providers or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
12. Publicity
12.1. By accepting a prize, winners agree that Atlas Sporting Ltd may publish their first name, county and winning entry details.
12.2. Any photographs, videos or testimonials provided voluntarily by winners may be used for promotional purposes.
12.3. Winners may request reasonable restrictions on publicity by contacting Atlas Sporting Ltd.
13. Fraud and Abuse
13.1. Atlas Sporting Ltd reserves the right to investigate any suspected fraudulent activity.
13.2. Entries may be cancelled where the Promoter reasonably believes an entrant has:
Used automated systems;
Attempted to manipulate the competition;
Created multiple fraudulent accounts;
Provided false information;
Breached these Terms.
13.3. No refund will be provided for cancelled fraudulent entries.
14. Data Protection
14.1. Atlas Sporting Ltd will process personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
14.2. Personal information will be used for:
Processing competition entries;
Contacting winners;
Administering prizes;
Meeting legal obligations.
14.3. Personal information will not be sold to third parties.
14.4. Marketing communications will only be sent where the entrant has provided appropriate consent.
15. Limitation of Liability
15.1. Atlas Sporting Ltd accepts no responsibility for:
Website failures;
Technical issues;
Lost postal entries;
Incorrect information supplied by entrants;
Events outside the Promoter's reasonable control.
15.2. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful.
16. Changes to Terms
16.1. Atlas Sporting Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms where necessary.
16.2. Any changes will be published on the website.
16.3. Changes will not unfairly disadvantage entrants who have already entered a competition.
17. Complaints
17.1. Any complaints should be submitted in writing to Atlas Sporting Ltd.
17.2. Complaints should include:
Entrant name;
Competition name;
Entry details;
Nature of complaint.
17.3. Atlas Sporting Ltd will investigate complaints and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
18. Governing Law
18.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
18.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
19. Acceptance of Terms
19.1. By entering an Atlas Sporting Ltd competition, entrants confirm they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
19.2. Entry into any competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
